About us

Pareltje Producties is run by a mother-daughter duo, Anne Steenkamp and Parel de Maar. Anne has over 25 years of experience in marketing, communications and brand launching. Meanwhile, Parel followed her mother’s footsteps and, now freshly graduated, joined forces with Anne. The combination of long-term old-school experience and new digital (event) marketing expertise show high impact results.

Here at Pareltje Producties, we focus on artist management, event and production management, concept development, and brand entertainment. We specialize in both digital and social media marketing (SEO, SEA, and brand awareness), as well as integrated online and offline marketing concepts.

 

PAREL DE MAAR

Parel grew up in the hospitality and events industry, building a natural foundation from an early age. She has over 10 years of experience in hospitality, combined with a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Event Management from TIO Business School (2025), with a minor in International Business Management.

During her studies, she worked as the General Manager and Marketing Manager of Club Akhnaton (which she is still doing) and gained experience in freelance event production for Vault Events. Her academic focus on event-oriented digital marketing and communications complements her hands-on industry experience, resulting in a strong skill set in event-driven marketing strategies.

 
 
 

ANNE STEENKAMP

All-round marketing and communications professional with 20+ years of international experience across branding, events, and culture. Specialized in integrated marketing (ATL/BTL), media planning and buying, and concept development.

Strong roots in the global nightlife and hospitality scene, with a proven track record in creating high-impact events, club concepts, and brand activations—from large-scale public events and brand launches to underground club nights and premium experiences with international artists and DJs.

Worked across Europe and the Middle East for brands including Coca-Cola, Renault, Nestlé, Absolut Vodka, and pharmaceutical companies. Combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution from idea to delivery.

Entrepreneurial, experienced in launching agencies, venues, and concepts. Also brings public sector insight. Recently completed a sabbatical, resulting in a written and recorded album.
